SUMMARY:Rock Corral Canyon with Tim Helentjaris
DESCRIPTION:Trip difficulty: Moderate with hiking approximately 2 miles along old road\nWe’ll hike approximately two miles up this canyon located just west of Tumacacori in the so-named mountains. We’ll be looking for both fall migrants and residents in this area known for its luxuriant vegetation due to its protection from grazing. Great solitude and striking scenery. Return early afternoon. Bring good walking shoes (may have to step around/in some wet areas), sunhat, sunscreen, water, snacks and/or lunch.\nLimit 11 participants, carpooling necessary.
