SUMMARY:Birding the Calendar – Where to Go Birding in Winter with Luke Safford
DESCRIPTION:One of the most common questions we get asked is “When is the best time to go birding in Southeast Arizona?” Well, it’s hard to pinpoint a best month, because there is something unique during every season! The winter months offer fantastic opportunities for a variety of raptors, waterfowl, longspurs, and more. Of course thousands of Sandhill Cranes in the Sulphur Springs Valley is always a draw, and we’ll touch on Whitewater, but less well-known locations will be discussed too!\nRegistrants will be emailed a Zoom link a couple of days prior to the event.\nRegistration for this virtual event is free.\nHeader Image: American Wigeon by Luke Safford\n \n
