DESCRIPTION:January 27th Tuesday meet-up at 6:00AM\nRegistration fee: $35/member, $50/non-member*\nTrip difficulty: Easy, with short strolls from vehicles through flat areas;\nTrip Duration: Return early afternoon. Carpooling required.\nThe Sulphur Springs Valley south of Willcox entertains a number of winter visitors, not just thousands of Sandhill Cranes but also shorebirds and raptors.  We’ll be driving around the fields and fallow areas looking in particular for Thick-billed Longspurs, Bendire’s Thrashers, perhaps even Mountain Plover.  Bring water, snacks and lunch; scope would also be useful. No restrooms or water available.
