Gradual elevation gain is less than 100 feet. 2 miles on moderately\nloose wash sand. Restrooms and water available at trailhead. Limited shade and no benches. Trip\nduration under 2.5 hours.\nWe will start from Oro Valley’s Honey Bee Canyon Park and will walk the wash to the north to just\nbeyond the site of the Hohokam Petroglyphs (at 1 mile) and look for some local specialties like the\nGilded Flicker and Black-throated Sparrow.\nDriving directions: From Tangerine Rd. and Rancho Vistoso Blvd., go north for 3 miles.
