Mostly short walks, near the vehicles. \nJoin us for a scenic birding adventure up Mount Lemmon, where we’ll explore a remarkable range of habitats as we climb from the Sonoran Desert into cool pine forests. With multiple stops along the way, we’ll look for a diverse mix of species that change with elevation—from desert favorites at the base to montane specialists higher up. This “Sky Island” experience offers not only excellent birding opportunities but also butterflies, wildflowers, stunning views, and a chance to witness the unique ecological transitions that make southern Arizona so special.\nWe’ll wrap up the morning in Summerhaven, where participants can relax and enjoy lunch together.
