DESCRIPTION:Wednesday, November 18th, 7:30am\nTrip difficulty: Easy. Walking Distance: 1.5 miles loop. Trip Duration: 2.5 hours. Ground Condition: Paved and dirt pathway with some areas of uneven footing and loose gravel. Ample parking, restroom facilities and benches available at periodic intervals throughout the park.\nWhen you combine two lakes, native flora, and large trees you are in for a great day of birding. Come join fellow birders as we explore this westside hotspot known for its waterfowl, raptors, desert favorites plus the chance for some rarities and migrant visitors. This park sports a list of nearly 250 species, so you just might find your next favorite bird.\nThe pace will be relaxed with seating available for breaks or during mini bird sit moments. Whether this is your first time or you’ve been birding for years, there is always something new to experience. Open to all levels.\nBring your binoculars, water and snacks as needed. Meet in the north parking lot by the bathrooms which is accessed from Silverbell Rd.
