Objective:

Join Tucson Bird Alliance & Tubac Nature Center habitat restoration professionals for a Santa Cruz River Community Stewardship Event!

Position Description:

We will be working to restore habitat along the Santa Cruz River in Tubac, starting with invasive plant removal. This project is a joint effort between the Tubac Nature Center and Tucson Bird Alliance which is supported in part by a grant from the Santa Cruz Valley National Heritage Area to the Tubac Nature Center.

Requirements:

Please wear appropriate work clothes and shoes, and bring gloves and a refillable water bottle. Event registration is required. Tools will be provided.

Date:

Monthly community restoration volunteer events will be held every third Thursday from 9am -11am.

We will meet at Ron Morriss Park (31 Calle Iglesia, Tubac, AZ 85646) and walk to the work site.
