Birdability Field Trip at Fort Lowell Park with Carol Tepper

Ft. Lowell Park, October 25th, 7:00 AM

Birdability Walk at Ft. Lowell Park

Celebrate Birdability Week with us on a welcoming and inclusive bird walk at Ft. Lowell Park! This beautiful urban park offers paved pathways, accessible restrooms, and excellent opportunities to enjoy birds up close—making it a perfect location for birders of all abilities.

As we explore the park’s pond, mature trees, and grassy open spaces, we’ll look for year-round residents like Vermilion Flycatchers, Gila Woodpeckers, and Verdin, as well as migratory visitors stopping over in Tucson. The pace will be relaxed with frequent stops, and the route is designed to be accessible for mobility devices or anyone who prefers level terrain.

No birding experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity!

Limited to 12 participants.
