Birding for EveryBODY at El Rio Preserve with Marcia OBara

Registration for this walk is free.
Trip Duration: 1.5 hrs. Ground Condition: Large cement viewing deck with two benches overlooking a pond, next to a paved shared-use path. A covered seating area and two port-o-johns available at entrance (one is wheelchair accessible).
Meetup location – Covered picnic tables next to parking lot

Join Marcia OBara for an outing designed for nature lovers with accessibility challenges; wheelchairs, walkers, or other assistive devices are welcome. On this trip, we will gather at Marana Parks & Rec’s newer birding spot: El Rio Open Space Preserve. Here, we’ll look for migrating waterfowl, Vermilion Flycatchers, and a variety of other species. We will finish by 10:00 am.
