Spring Plant Fest–It’s Not Just a Sale! See the plant list
Get your plant fix, April 15 & 16 at the Tucson Bird Alliance Mason Center (3835 W Hardy Rd). The Native Plant Sale is going big this spring! In addition to the plant sale on both days, we’re celebrating Habitat at Home.

Event Schedule:

April 15, 8:30 AM – 1 PM

  • Native Plant Sale | All Day
    • Native trees. shrubs, grasses, vines and more! We’ll have the classics as well as some new species we’ve never had
      before. Full plant list to follow.
  • Presentation | 10 – 10:30 am
    • Learn how to help your Homeowners Association tackle invasive plants from someone that has done it herself!
      Karen Howe will talk about how she got her HOA and neighbors involved in an invasive grass “campaign” and why it
      was successful.
  • Lucy’s Warbler Nestbox Building | 8:30 – 11:30 am
    • Build your own nestbox with Tucson Bird Alliance Staff and Volunteers – (suggested donation of $5)
  • Native Bee Nest Block Building | 8:30 – 11:30 am
    • Build your own tunnel-nesting native bee nesting block with Tucson Bird Alliance Staff and Volunteers – (suggested
      donation of $5)
  • Face Painting | All Day
    • Get your face painted by some of Tucson Bird Alliance’s talented staff
  • Kids Vulture Activity | All Day
    • Explore the digestive tract of a member of southeast Arizona’s cleanup crew with a special activity held by Tucson
      Audubon’s Education Department

April 16 | 8:30 AM – 12 PM

  • Garden Tour | 8:30 – 9 am
    • Join Kari and Kim on a walk around the Mason Center gardens as we explore the plants and habitat enhancements
      that can be mimicked at home.
  • Native Plant Sale | 9 am – 12 pm
    • Native trees, shrubs, grasses, vines and more! We’ll have the classics as well as some new species we’ve never had
      before. Full plant list to follow.

Donate a Vehicle

Cars- Moving Forward Together

Tucson Bird Allaince is able to accept donated vehicles. We use teh proceeds from donated cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs, boats, motercycels and even airplanes to help fund our mission. Tucson Bird Allaince partners with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) to help run our vehicle donation program. CARS is a nonprofit that has been processing vehicle donations for nonprofits since 2003.

  • Make an outright gift now by recommending a grant to Tucson Bird Alliance.
  • Make recurring gifts with ease so that your contributions can make an immediate difference when needed most. 
  • Create a succession plan to recommend that Tucson Bird Alliance receives all or a portion of your DAF’s value upon it’s termination.

Workplace Giving

Contact your HR department to see if your company’s giving program includes Tucson Bird Alliance (formerly Tucson Audubon Society).  With this option, you can have your contributions automatically deducted from your paycheck. You choose how much and how often you’d like to give.
