Sweetwater Wetlands World Migratory Bird Day with Tucson Bird Alliance

Join Tucson Bird Alliance staff members Luke Safford, Alex Patia, and Donito Burgess for World Migratory Bird Day at Sweetwater Wetlands! We’ll be at the wetlands from sunup to sundown, watching for migrants and resident birds as we celebrate the incredible diversity of birds moving through Southeast Arizona. Stop by for a few minutes, a couple of hours, or stay and bird with us throughout the day. The choice is yours!
We’ll also be engaging in a little friendly competition with our friends at Alachua Audubon, who will be birding Sweetwater Wetlands in Gainesville, Florida. Which Sweetwater will come out on top? Come help us find out! This is a free event and everyone is welcome. Registration is appreciated so we have an idea of how many birders to expect.
