Sentinel of the Desert Bourbon Whiskey Release Party

Join us in The Tasting Room at Whiskey Del Bac Saturday, September 27 from 3 to 6 pm to celebrate the release of much-anticipated Sentinel of the Desert Bourbon whiskey!

Our profound love of the desert led us to create a bourbon whiskey steeped in the traditions of the Desert Southwest.

Sentinel Bourbon™ starts with a 60% yellow corn, 35% pumpernickel rye, and 5% heritage malt bourbon mash bill and is finished on freshly harvested Whiskey Del Bac® mesquited barrel staves. It’s then filtered across mesquite charcoal from our mesquited malting process in what we call the Pima County Process™. This produces a bright but punchy bourbon, dripping in smoked apple pie on the nose.

The mesquite smoke takes a supporting role across the palate, finishing with long lasting singed vanilla. With each sip of Sentinel, we invite you to slow down and savor the spirit of the Southwest. Now more than ever, the Sonoran desert is in need of sentinels. Together, let’s keep watch over this place that we love.

We will be featuring live music from Desert Music Project and delicious food from El Golden Taco.

A portion of the proceeds from this release party will be donated to the Tucson Bird Alliance, a local non-profit that inspires people to enjoy and protect birds through recreation, education, conservation, and restoration of the environment upon which we all depend.
