Exploring Parker Canyon Lake with Tim Helentjaris

Exploring Parker Canyon Lake

November 18th Tuesday Meet-up at 6:30AM

Registration fee: $35/member, $50/non-member*

Trip Difficulty: Moderate with short walks from our vehicles.

Trip Duration:  Back early afternoon. Carpooling required.

This lake west of the Huachuca Mts. and not far from the border doesn’t get birded often but the winter season sees an interesting collection of waterfowl drop in to complement the resident birds.  We’ll bring scanning the lake as well as checking out the local forests.  Bring comfortable walking shoes, water and snacks/lunch, sun protection.  Spotting scope will be useful.  Restroom facilities at the lake.

Sunrise: 6:55AM

Directions: final meeting instructions by email.

Leader: Tim Helentjaris (tnhelentjaris@msn.com)
