Pewter Hummingbird Ornament Fundraiser

Join us for a special hands-on event and fundraiser benefiting the Tucson Bird Alliance Nature Shop!

On Saturday, November 22, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, you’ll have the unique opportunity to cast your own lead-free pewter hummingbird ornament in the beautiful courtyard of The Historic Y, located at 300 East University Blvd (Main Lobby: 738 North 5th Avenue). This fun and educational experience lets participants witness and take part in pouring molten metal—something few people ever get to try. Each attendee will create one pewter hummingbird ornament to take home as a keepsake. The event is open to ages 12 and up, or ages 8 to 11 with an accompanying adult. Tickets are $24 in advance by ordering from The Nature Shop, or $30 at the event. Make a lasting memory and support a great cause!

Don Norris and his family, Kay his wife and Greg, his son will also be displaying their other art work, pewter sculptures, copper toolings and Sterling Silver jewelry. Many of which are birds, bird related and celebrating Arizona nature. They have Quails and Javelinas too! Don has taught Silversmithing in all 50 states. A percentage of all sales will be donated to the Tucson Bird Alliance Nature Store. Come and just have fun too and check out the beautiful Nature Store stocked with many Christmas. Gifts for all nature and bird lovers! Don is giving away his Magic Frogs cast in pewter free for the first 40 tickets sold!

Donate a Vehicle

Cars- Moving Forward Together

Tucson Bird Allaince is able to accept donated vehicles. We use teh proceeds from donated cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs, boats, motercycels and even airplanes to help fund our mission. Tucson Bird Allaince partners with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) to help run our vehicle donation program. CARS is a nonprofit that has been processing vehicle donations for nonprofits since 2003.
