Tumacacori-Rio Rico Area with Tim Helentjaris

Registration fee: $35/member, $50/non-member*

Trip difficulty: Medium, with hiking up to 3 miles from vehicles;

Trip Duration: Return noonish. Carpooling required.

Elevation Gain: none; Ground Condition: well-maintained trails. We’ll start at the DeAnza Trail looking for birds along the riparian corridor, including Green Kingfisher. Afterwards we’ll visit another site or two to pick up some interesting species.  Wear good walking shoes and layered clothes, bring binoculars, water and snacks. No established restrooms on-site.  Limited to 11 participants.
