Lakeside Park Easy Birding Stroll with Cynthia VerDuin & Donito Burgess
November 10th – Tuesday 7:30 am
Trip Difficulty: Easy, slow paced, for birders of all abilities on paved paths. 1-2 miles depending on our pace. Focus will be on improving bird identification skills, as well as just enjoying the birds we encounter.
We will walk the paved paths around the lake and surrounding ball fields. We will likely encounter desert urban birds along with water fowl, raptors, hummingbirds, sparrows and maybe a surprise or two!
Open to all levels. Plan to wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring your binoculars, hat, water and snacks as needed.
Wrap up around 10:15 am. Limit 10 participants.
Leaders: Cynthia VerDuin & Donito Burgess
**Registration for Tucson Bird Alliance Members is free. Non-members can join this field trip for a non-refundable fee of $5.**
