Whether you have a patio, a small yard, or an established landscape, Habitat at Home gives you the tools to create a healthier outdoor space for birds, pollinators, and other native wildlife.
Native plants, water, shelter, and a few wildlife-friendly practices can transform any space into part of a larger network of habitat across our community.

What Does Wildlife Need?

In fact, we encourage you to register before getting started. Habitat at Home provides the guidance, tools, and resources to help you create a welcoming space for birds and other wildlife, whether you’re starting from scratch or improving an existing landscape.

Start your habitat journey by registering your outdoor space! You’ll receive your Habitat at Home Kit, filled with resources to help guide you from the very beginning.

Bringing Birds Home Habitat Guides
The Arizona Important Bird Areas Program along with its partners, Arizona Game and Fish, Tucson Bird Alliance, and Audubon Arizona, have created three guides on how to make your property better for birds and wildlife.
