Volunteer Opportunity:

Gilded Flicker Sonoran Desert Surveys

Schedule:

Part-time, Temporary

Objective:

Search for Gilded Flickers along a trail on any morning of your choice in March or April.

Position Description:

Participants will sign up for a trail of their choice in priority areas and walk along the trail with a periodic stop to listen for Gilded Flickers and play a recording of their call and continue to listen.

Requirements:

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring water. Protocol can be found here. More information can be found here.

Available routes include Tortolita Mountains, Saguaro National Park (both Eastern and Western district) and Tucson Mountain Park.
